A2I interpreters undergo a multi-step selection and training process through our Access Academy
A2I interpreters are required to complete an intensive mandatory training and participate in continuing education courses quarterly
A2I interpreters are required to provide complete documentation, including background checks, drug tests, and immunization records

Scheduled Telephone Interpretation Services for Columbus and Central Ohio

Our Scheduled Telephone Interpretation Services are available in over 70 languages so you can communicate better. Scheduled Telephone Interpretation is an over-the-phone interpretation service that can be provided within 30 minutes. This service can be used to schedule appointments for Limited English Proficiency (LEP) patients or clients, to make reminder calls for patients or clients, to arrange teleconference calls, or to interpret during teleconferences.
Instantaneous Telephone Interpretation Services

Scheduled Telephone Interpretation Services for Columbus and Central Ohio
At Access 2 Interpreters, we’re proud to offer Scheduled Video Remote Interpretation (Scheduled VRI) Services for pre-scheduled and urgent appointments with a response time of forty (40) minutes or less in urgent situations. Our professional interpreters are ready and able to interpret for a wide selection of industries to ensure clear communication. All connections are fully encrypted and secured.
Scheduled Video Remote Interpretation (Scheduled VRI) Services are available 24/7/365 in over thirty-five (35) languages including American Sign Language (ASL). This service can be used as a substitute for Face-to-Face services when being in the same location is not possible or preferable. Group sessions are available with Scheduled VRI Services. You, the interpreter, and your clients, patients, and/or business partners can be in separate locations, while still participating in the same video conference.
At Access 2 Interpreters, our Scheduled Video Remote Interpretation offers a flexibility that other interpreting companies cannot match. Our Columbus professional interpreters provide the following services:
- Provide an interpreter through your own video platform, or Facilitate the video conference and provide an interpreter through our video platform.

Instantaneous Video Remote Interpretation (Instantaneous Vri) And Audio-only Interpretation
We offer Video Remote Interpreting Services (VRI) in over 40 languages with the most common languages, including American Sign Language (ASL), accessible 24/7/365. Less common languages, covering 98% of all U.S. language requests, are accessible Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST.
Using the same app-based solution, we also offer Audio-Only Interpretation Services in over 240 languages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Users can connect to a video interpreter in less than 2 minutes, and connections to Audio-only interpreters are made within 30 seconds after the request is initiated.
Our VRI and Audio-only Services may be accessed by downloading the application to an Apple iPad or through a web browser on a PC or Android device. Users will be prompted once to enter an assigned authentication code and the name of the device. After the initial application is installed, users will have full access to VRI Services and will have simple, intuitive one-touch access to an interpreter of their choice. The Apple iPad app or PC/Android web interface can also immediately access an Audio-only interpreter at the user’s discretion.
